A pair of very unusual cloisonne enamel vases of strong rather archaic form with loop handles, superbly decorated with flowers, birds and butterflies. Chinese and probably early 19th century. These impressive vases have all the patina of age with some old restoration and are in pleasingly "country house " condition.
