A reunited pair of large and elegant polychrome double gourd form delftware vases decorated with birds and foliage. Marked with apocryphal mark and his own sidemark by the great Edme Samson, Paris c.1870
H 55.5cm x W 26cm (both very slightly ground down on top lip, where they had been mounted as lamps previously.)
