An early 19th century hand sculpted urn in pale buff terracotta, distinctively signed by Bongiovanni Vaccaro, a well known Sicilian sculptor, and probably bought on the Grand
Tour. The English pine base is contemporary to the vase, and still has its original faux Portor marble finish.
