A large 18th century Delft knoppel vase in the manner of Lambertus van Eenhoorn at De Metaale Pot and a later 19th century copy by Edmé Samson (French, 1810–1891) the great Parisian potter. He was in the habit of buying period pieces to copy and then selling them off. Fascinatingly, and exceptionally, we have here a 19th century Samson copy and the original 18th century one that he copied.

Dimension: H 59 cm
